It has been a long time since I’ve posted anything, but there are so many great freebies out there this weekend for digital scrapbookers, I simply had to share.

Even though this blog is directed to Photoshop and Photoshop Elements users, there is a dedicated software program, My Memories Suite, worth checking out for a number of reasons.  It is probably the best dedicated digital scrapbooking software on the market. This weekend you can get a free copy of Version 8, and if you want to upgrade to Version 9, you can get that for $9.99 all at
https://www.mymemories.com.  The software comes with lots of supplies.  There are several options for downloading them depending upon your computer and its operating system and upon whether you are planning to use the supplies in My Memories Suite or in another program.  All jpeg and png files can be used in Photoshop and Photoshop Elements.  Obviously, you will not find any psd files!
You can check out what is new in Version 9 here:
https://www.mymemories.com/mms/what_new.  Of particular interest to PS and PSE users: Version 9 includes over 150 new backgrounds and over 400 new elements.  I find My Memories supplies tend to be more traditional than I prefer, but there are many excellent kits for sale in addition to materials supplies with the software.

If you like artsy supplies, Anna Aspnes offers a fabulous freebie megakit with tutorial videos at annaaspnesdesigns.com.  This kit contains samples of her many types of supplies, and the videos show you how to use them.

Here is a recent page I created with her ArtPlay Palette Amaranthine kit (not included in the freebie).

Many of my favorite digital scrapbooking websites have moved most of their tutorials and giveaways to their blogs.  Scrap Girls always has a lot going on for (I)NSD.  This website has some of the highest quality supplies available.  Oscraps is another favorite.  Digital Scrapper is a teaching site - some of the best classes and most on sale this weekend.
